Do I need to wear a mask to the park?
No, it is not required to wear a mask in the park and you will not be able to wear a mask during any water activities, however if you are more comfortable wearing a mask while waiting in queue lines or walking throughout the park you are more than welcome to wear one.
Will staff be wearing masks?
All cashiering and slide dispatching positions will be wearing masks for the safety of guests and other staff members.
Will there be social distancing line markers?
Yes, we are providing spot markers for 6 ft of distance between groups waiting in any admissions, slide queue lines or food queue line.
How are you sanitizing the park?
We will provide sanitation stations throughout the park where guests can use at their convenience and also have added additional hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the park. Multi touch and hand contact surfaces will be sanitized in food areas, bathrooms, locker areas and queue lines regularly throughout the day. All chairs and tubes will be sanitized daily. (tubes are constantly sanitized while in chlorinated water)
Will you be checking the temperatures of each guest before they enter the park?
We will not be checking temperatures of guests. We ask that if anyone in your group feels unwell or displays any symptoms to not participate in any activities at the park.
Can Covid-19 be transmitted in the water?
No, CDC has stated that Covid-19 can not be transmitted through chlorinated water. Myrtle Waves pools meet all standards set by South Carolina DHEC.
