Myrtle Waves is South Carolina’s largest water park located in Myrtle Beach, SC, with 22 slides and attractions for all ages, and 1.2 million gallons of water. We could detail every drop of water for you, but we figure you’d rather review the Frequently Asked Questions below so you can start making your way to the park even faster.

We are located on Hwy 17 Bypass at 10th Ave. North in Myrtle Beach. You can always check out our directions page.

Yes we do. Groups of 15 or more qualify for discounts off regular priced admissions. View the Group Info section for more details or call 843.238.3787.
Afternoon Admission begins 3 hours before the park closes. These passes can only be purchased at the Main Gate or through this website.

If purchased at the main gate, we accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. You must have a valid photo ID to pay with credit card. Online we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express credit cards.

Guests may not bring any personal flotation devices into the park with the exception of Coast Guard approved life jackets. Life jackets and tubes are provided free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Myrtle Waves provides a picnic area outside of the main entrance of the park. Guests are able to enjoy their picnic in this area but are not allowed to bring any outside food or beverage into the facility except one water bottle per person. Bags will be checked before park entry.

Bubble Bay and Saturation Station are our two most popular attractions for small children and have been designed with the toddler’s age and skill in mind.

It is advised that you check the local forecast for the Myrtle Beach area prior to your visit. Myrtle Waves Water Park does not close slides due to rain, however in the event of thunder and lightning, attractions will be temporarily closed. All sales are final. No refunds. No rain checks. Please keep in mind that if inclement weather is expected for the entire day, Myrtle Waves Water Park reserves the right to not open the facility.
Every time is the best time to visit Myrtle Waves! You can review our Operating Calendar for dates and hours. Sunday is usually the slowest day for the water park and will forward you the greatest opportunity to ride the greatest number of slides.
It is imperative that each family establish a meeting point for family and friends. It is also recommended that younger children be shown the Guest Services building upon entry into the park, as this is where any lost parents or lost children should report to be re-united with their family. However, any Myrtle Waves team member may be approached and will assist in locating lost family or friends.
Myrtle Waves is staffed with over 100 specially trained, award winning life guards. While it is the duty of the guards to ensure the safety of all Guests, we ask that parents please be mindful of their children and family members at all times. Ride safety rules are posted at each pool and slide. We request that each Guest review these thoroughly. Life jackets are provided throughout the park and their use is encouraged to provide additional safety.
We have ample parking for all vehicles, including motor coaches.

There are no height restrictions on Saturation Station, Bubble Bay, the Ocean in Motion Wave Pool, and the Lazy River. Riders must be taller than 42″ inches to ride all slides. All slides have a 250 lb. weight restriction. Arooba Tooba and Snake Mountain both have a 250 lb single rider and 400 lb. Double rider weight restriction.

Yes. We encourage using a locker to store all valuables and personal items. Lockers can be rented with cash and/or credit/debit cards.
Yes. Courtesy tubes are provided for all slides that require a tube.
